We just got back from a little town called Gympie Australia!
Our good buddy Ian Harwood from Event Management Solutions invited Tracey, Jordo, Mick, and I down to a local Down Hill race he was putting on for some big sponsors like Queensland Water.
Ian and his team did a really good job on putting this race together! We had the local 4×4 off road club doing shuttles, local people doing the food, and 150 racers! Everything was on time, and there was no drama! That is impressive for a first time race! We really enjoyed ourselfs!
Mick and Tracey won their classes, and Jordo had a massive off on one of the fastest spots on the course. So he was pretty beat up and dissapointed. But all in all, it was a very fun coarse for them!
Being 5 months pregnant now, I didn’t ride, but I did get to drive one of the brand new V-8 Land Cruisers! That was a good time for me!
I think the baby enjoyed it too!
We headed to Brisbane where we met up with Amazing Freerider, Darren Pokoj’s parents Ziggy and Judy! They are the most amazing people! They took wonderful care of us, and I just have to say thanks to them! I got to meet a bunch of Micks friends he hasn’t seen for years, and I got to see Darrens back yard training grounds! Quite cool!
We will be heading back to America in a few weeks, so it was a good time to see some more of Australila and catch up with old friends! It was absolutely beautiful down near Gympie, and it was nice and cool! The people were great too!
I hope you all are enjoying life, and riding lots! THE HANNAH’S!

Hi
I am a journalist at The Gympie Times and your blog or journal came up in a Google Alert.
We are always interested in interesting people from here or visiting and we would be very happy to do a story on your visit and something about you with one of the pix.
Just something about what you were doing here, riding bikes I presume and a pic would be ideal for us.
Give us a call during working hours if you like. It may be some promotion for your sport and in a small way for you. We’re keen anyway.
Hear from you hopefully.

Hi Ho Hanah, Mick and Tracy (as well)!
It will be a great experience, as I can tell by myself bieng a father of a lovely 5 year old daughter! You and us met last year at the Megavalanche in Alpe D’Huez when I did an interview with Mick for our website. We were there: Verena, Thortsen and myself. We were all doing the Megavalanche and Verena had a little chat just right before the start with you!
I have been happy to read your journal and to find out that your family is still growing
If you are interested you can watch the complete road trip at:

Unfortunately its all in german but the videos speak for itself
))
I was left wondering why Tracy did not attend any QWorld Cups this year untill I found out that she had run out of money - what a pitty !!!! I hope some sponsors will be found for the coming season. And I hope You’ll be on the bike again when your child will let you! As well for Mick!
I wish you all the best for the things to come and for your pregnancy and stay happy and contend!
All the best from Germany,
Stefan
